The plot of this horror thriller revolves around the lives of eight college students who share a passion for horror. Among them are Angela, Sarah, Nando, Rai, Sebastian, Koldo, Eva and Virginia. Sara believes she is in a relationship with Rai, but he is too independent to fall in love and depend on anyone. Nando works at a bar and is dating Angela. Angela dreams of becoming a famous writer, she even created her first novel a few years ago. However, not only Nando is in love with Angela, but also Sebastian, which creates tension in the couple's relationship. Virginia is also an aspiring writer, she wants to create horror novels.
Eva works part-time at the library, and Koldo has created a name for himself on social media. All the characters, except Nando, attend the same university, study literature and are members of a secret book club where everyone shares their impressions of the last novel they finished reading. Meanwhile, news spreads all over social media about a mysterious man in a bizarre clown mask who conducts deadly pranks on people.
All 8 students also find themselves tied up in the mystery of the accidental murder of a professor who was soliciting Angela. The friends wanted to scare the professor into stopping hitting on their friend and, inspired by creepy videos from the internet, in order to teach him a lesson, they dressed up in clown costumes. However, a random turn of events leads to the professor dying from a fall down the stairs. The next day, the friends receive a link to an online novel written by someone, which describes the events of the professor's murder in great detail.
